Apple Hill Orchards is a family-owned and operated orchard and farm market serving two locations, Mansfield and Fredericktown.

At the Mansfield location, the market is open from mid-July through mid-April, ten months out of the year. We're open seven days a week. This store offers delicious cheese, meat and spreads from Amish country, a large selection of jams, jellies and apple butter, specialty items, gifts, candies, spices, and from our bakery, pies, cookies, breads, muffins, and our own apple donuts. It is at the Mansfield orchard that our retail business is based and most of our special fall events take place:

The Fredericktown store is open from August 1 through Thanksgiving weekend. The Fredericktown operation does the bulk of the work. The 120-acre orchard is twice the size of the one at Mansfield and virtually all of the wholesale business is here, including a packing house and line. The retail store is open seasonally, from August through Thanksgiving, offering jam, jellies, apple butter, honey, pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, specialty items, pick-your-own apples and much more. Tours of the packing house and orchard are available by appointment.

But what brings 'em back again and again to both locations is our famous apples, sweet cider and apple donuts. With over twenty varieties from which to choose, and with a flavor and freshness unsurpassed, you'll be convinced that all the extra care and attention we give our apples have resulted in producing a superior product. And our excellent cider is a result of careful preparation and pressing; only wash, sound apples, picked from the tree at the peak of ripeness, are used.
