This Week at Apple Hill Orchards

The apples in the store are Empire, Jonagold, Fuji, Goldrush, Winesap, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Idared, Melrose, and Mutsu.   All of the apples, from now until we close in late March or early April, are brought out of CA (controlled atmosphere) storage.  This method of reducing the oxygen level in a sealed storage area, arrests the ripening and keeps the apples very fresh and crisp.

Our winter hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm, closed Sunday and Monday.

The cider is in good supply and is being pressed in small quantities, twice a week.  You may bring your jug or bottle back for a refill, just ask for an Apple Hill lable (if it doesn't already have one) at the register.  Try a complimentary cup of hot cider while you are here.  We have a large selection of hot cider and mulling spices from which to choose.

We are offering our delicious apple donuts at a special rate for the entire month of January--$5.95/dozen, $3.25/half dozen, and $.60 each.  We all need a treat during this winter month....
